A few interesting links

Kiaora kids.
I posted this on FB but thought it couldn't hurt to do it here as well.
I think the interesting angle to see from a lot of them is that citizen journalism is a kind of cost cutting device and a way to move with the time. Recession and changing role of journalism etc etc

http://www.cjreport.com/ - online paper with only citizen journalism in it. (Case study perhaps?)
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1706500,00.html - a time study
http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/bizchina/2009-03/27/content_7623765.htm - a story from the China daily about how citizen journalism fits into modern day practices
http://www.editorsweblog.org/analysis/2005/12/from_citizen_journalism_myth_to_citizen.php - and an interesting little debate about it

Have a read of them, and let me know what you think.

Alistair.
